Legal information
Website terms & conditions
Terms for using this website, making an enquiry and requesting a vehicle booking with Euro Rental in New South Wales.
Effective 18 September 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you access this website, submit an enquiry, request a vehicle booking, vote for a future fleet vehicle or apply to list a vehicle with Euro Rental. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not submit information through the site.
Euro Rental is the trading name used on this website and operates from Castle Hill, New South Wales. The registered contracting entity and its ABN or ACN will be identified on the written quote, invoice and rental agreement before a customer is asked to commit or pay.
2. Website requests are not confirmed bookings
An enquiry or booking request is an invitation for Euro Rental to assess availability and eligibility. It is not a confirmed reservation, does not guarantee a vehicle or price, and does not create a rental agreement. No payment is taken through the website forms.
A booking is confirmed only when Euro Rental gives written confirmation, the driver and booking requirements are satisfied, the applicable agreement is accepted and any required payment or bond arrangement is completed.
3. Driver and booking eligibility
Drivers must be at least 17 years old and hold a valid licence appropriate for the vehicle and proposed use. Some vehicles require a driver to be 21 or older. Licence class, driving history, insurer requirements, authorised drivers, identification and other vehicle-specific conditions may apply.
Drivers who do not hold a full driver licence may be charged an additional $100 fee where disclosed during the request and confirmed before approval. Euro Rental may reasonably decline a request where eligibility, safety, insurance, availability or verification requirements are not met.
4. Prices, bond and additional charges
Displayed prices are in Australian dollars. Unless expressly stated otherwise, a displayed total includes any GST Euro Rental is required to charge and any unavoidable fee that can be calculated at that time. No mandatory online booking fee currently applies.
Current standard terms include a $300 security bond, 250 included kilometres per 24-hour hire or single 12-hour hire, and $3 per additional kilometre. The security bond is separate from the hire price and is refundable subject to inspection, deductions authorised by the rental agreement and applicable law.
Fuel, tolls, cleaning, late return, additional distance, damage, insurance excess and other charges may apply only where relevant and permitted by the rental agreement and law. The amount or calculation method for any applicable charge will be disclosed before the booking is confirmed or payment is taken.
5. Key terms disclosed before you commit
Before a customer commits to a rental, Euro Rental will draw attention to any term that may substantially affect the customer, including a cancellation or exit fee, liability for damage or loss, insurance excess or exclusion, unusual restriction, authority to share identifiable information, or any other material payment obligation.
The vehicle rental agreement, written quote and booking confirmation govern the actual rental. You should read them before accepting and ask us about any term you do not understand.
6. Cancellations, changes and refunds
Cancellation, rescheduling, no-show and refund terms depend on the confirmed booking and will be provided in writing before payment. If a specific cancellation fee is not disclosed and accepted before confirmation, it will not be imposed later merely by reference to this website.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Vehicle availability and substitutions
Availability shown on the website is indicative until confirmed. A vehicle may become unavailable because of a prior booking, maintenance, safety issue, damage, calendar update or another event outside reasonable control. If a confirmed vehicle cannot be supplied, Euro Rental will contact the customer to discuss a suitable lawful remedy, which may include an agreed alternative, rescheduling or refund as applicable.
8. Vehicle use and rental agreement
Only drivers authorised in the signed rental agreement may operate a vehicle. The agreement may set rules for permitted area and use, kilometre limits, fuel, tolls, parking and traffic offences, prohibited use, return condition, accident reporting, insurance and damage responsibility.
The website summary does not replace the signed rental agreement. Where these website terms conflict with a signed rental agreement for a particular booking, the signed agreement applies to that booking, subject always to applicable law.
9. Vehicle owner applications and fleet voting
A vehicle owner application is an assessment request only. It creates no agency, rental, insurance, income or fleet acceptance guarantee. Inspection, authority, insurance and a separate written owner agreement are required before a vehicle can join the fleet.
Votes for future vehicles express customer interest only. They do not guarantee that a candidate vehicle will be acquired, listed or made available.
10. Australian Consumer Law
Services supplied to consumers come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including that services are provided with due care and skill and are fit for any disclosed purpose where the law applies. These terms must be read subject to those rights.
Information about consumer rights is available from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission at accc.gov.au and NSW Fair Trading at fairtrading.nsw.gov.au.
11. Website information and intellectual property
We take reasonable care to keep vehicle details, imagery, prices and availability current, but errors or changes may occur. Final details are confirmed in writing before a booking. Nothing on the site is financial, insurance or legal advice.
The site design, text, branding and media are owned by or licensed to Euro Rental. You may view and use the site for personal enquiry purposes, but must not reproduce, scrape, republish or commercially exploit it without permission.
12. Acceptable use and third-party services
You must not submit false information, impersonate another person, upload malicious or unlawful content, interfere with security, attempt unauthorised access, overload the service or use the site for an unlawful purpose.
The site may link to or rely on third-party hosting, calendar, map, social media or communication services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. Euro Rental is not responsible for third-party content or services outside its reasonable control, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Euro Rental is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising only from use of, or inability to access, the website. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be excluded or limited under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law, or to liability caused by fraud, wilful misconduct or any other matter that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. Nothing in these terms prevents either party from using a tribunal, court, regulator or external dispute process available under law. Consumer complaints may also be directed to NSW Fair Trading or the ACCC as appropriate.
15. Governing law, changes and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the applicable laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. Courts and tribunals with jurisdiction in New South Wales may hear disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer forum rights.
We may update these terms for future website use. The version accepted for an existing confirmed booking will not be changed retrospectively unless agreed or required by law.
